1940s Pattullo-Jo CopelandA fantastic and early Patullo Jo Copeland piece that is very well made and has a really unusual fabric as well. You can see the influence of the late 20s and 30s in the shape and cut still! The bodice is made of a fine black silk taffeta that has an unusual stripe of yarn worked directly into the fabric. It creates little rows with looped "balls" all along each and has a slight 3D effect too! Really wonderful to see in real life! The neckline is high
